Sanvid Tuljapurkar

Lead, Sustainable Trade Law

Sanvid Tuljapurkar is an international trade lawyer specializing in international trade law and policy, industrial policy, sustainability and development.

At TULIP, Sanvid leads the work on international trade law including international trade agreements, free trade agreements (FTAs), and domestic trade law and policy across countries including Europe, Asia and Africa.

Prior to TULIP, Sanvid has served as a Legal Affairs Officer at the World Trade Organization (WTO), focusing on environmental and energy services. She also previously worked at the Department of Commerce of the Government of India, where she focused on trade in services, e-commerce, and environmental and labor provisions in free trade agreements. Beyond these institutions, Sanvid has experience working at prominent organizations such as the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington D.C. and the International Trade Center in Geneva.

Sanvid earned her undergraduate degree in law from Symbiosis International University in 2018, and completed her LL.M. at Georgetown University in 2019. She is qualified to practice law in India and New York, United States.
