European Public Diplomacy Week 2025: Rediscovering multilateralism as an antidote to trade wars
TULIP’s director Colette van der Ven was in Brussels for the 2025 European Public Diplomacy Week, at the invitation of the European Economic and Social Committee.
She spoke in a session on “Trade: Rediscovering multilateralism as an antidote to trade wars”, alongside Tanja Buzek, EESC Member and Vice-President of the EESC’s International Trade Follow-up Committee, and Sofia Bournou, Senior Adviser at BusinessEurope. The discussion explored the future of multilateralism and the importance of meaningful EU partnerships in today’s challenging geopolitical context.
